Chimney Rock Village Planning Board Meeting September 16, 2008

 

This meeting was called to order at 6:07 p.m. with all members present. Steve Duncan, finance officer, was present as well. There were no additions to the agenda or corrections to the minutes. Both were approved.

 

No public comments or suggestions. No old business.

 

New business: Request by Charles Hill to approve a final Plat of Phase 1 A Subdivision Plat for Rocky River Crossing which includes Lots 5, 6, and 7 all located at Map 522 Block 1 Lot 34B. Please see attached memo from zoning administrator stating that approval from Rutherford County Health Department has been given for on-site wastewater treatment septic tank systems. These lots meet minimum requirement for lot size. They are sized according to adjoining road grade. The road meets the requirement for maximum grade. The plat also contains a 30 foot wide easement in favor of Chimney Rock Village for future walking trail along the edge of the highway. Robert Mebane will do a plat for this easement.

 

The zoning administrator recommends approval. Ann made a motion to approve and Peter seconded. Passed.

 

Bill discussed the attached flow charts with the planning board. There were no public comments.

 

Ann made a motion to adjourn and Peter seconded. This meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
